Fashionista and I are reading Isaiah. That's where a whole bunch of people get warned about the destruction that is coming their way- the consequence they have to face for their insistence on going every way, but God's way. But He does promise that there will be a remnant and from it He will build a nation of followers. He will ultimately save His people and be glorified among the nations- forever.
I am thankful to identify with the remnant. I have heard the voice of the Lord and have been given epiphany eyes to see the truth of his word- in bits with struggles, but still with joy... As for every knee bowing and tongue confessing- we wait I guess. It's coming. So, that's the important following I do.
The not so important, but fun and hobby type following I do, is the following of blogs. And I have noticed that I am over following many blogs. What I mean is, I am following many blogs twice. Two 2 Thinks profile icons are sitting in grids on many blogs. I want to apologize for this. I told one blogger already and now I am telling all, I don't know how I got my pic on your grid two times. Furthermore, I don't know how to take one off and leave one on, so that I can properly follow you one time and quit messing up your grid. I have studied it, though. Just haven't figured it out, yet. I'm sorry for that annoyance.
These are some of the other questions I hope to have answered before China becomes the next super power of the world- officially:
How do you type a line through a word and have it show up that way, anyway?
Where do you get those buttons with HTML code underneath that others can grab and paste on their site in order to participate in fun, weekly blog parties like " Friday Faves" and "Thankful Thursday" and "30x5" ?
And what about the awards and trophies and such that so many bloggers are proudly displaying in their sidebars- where do those come from, who gives those out, do you register to win them or submit to a contest, is there a blog board?
Where is the bling? The colorful, jazzy buttons you all have lighting up your sidebars. Is it even called a sidebar? How can a blogger get a sidebar on both sides? I don't see any templates like that at blogspot. Are there free ones? What if you switch to one, do you lose your current blog contents?
Is it legal to go to Google and grab any picture you want and post it on your blog? I've been doing that and then checking my e-mail box for fines or warning notices.
Finally, for now, how did those drawings of that suntanning lady get on this post? That is incredible. How long might that have taken, I wonder? I know that's grad school level stuff.
The bloggers I read are some of the most intelligent, creative, humorous, inspiring individuals on the face of the planet. Refreshing.

Ooh, I hope someone answers your questions. I haven't a clue! So you not only teach Fashionista, but now you'll be teaching me, too!! : )
I hope so too, Teach. I hope so too.
When you get an answer to any of your blogging questions, please let me know. All of the questions that you have asked are the exact ones that I have been asking myself but was afraid to ask someone else. Most of the sites that I go to have all of these clever things on them. But I'm afraid to experiment around because I'm afraid I will lose or mess up what I already have. Or worse yet, something will appear that will get me in loads of trouble or be embarrasing to me. So I'm going to keep an eye out to see if anyone gives you hints....maybe I can do some 2nd hand learning! Thanks for asking these great questions!!!
It took me foreve to figure ths one out. This is the code for a strike throught. What ever you put in the middel of the < strike > code will show up with a line throguth it. The comment parameters will not let me put the real code in so when using this take out the spaces between the < and the word strike.
< strike > hordes of locust< / strike >

there is a ton of information on how to do different things like adding a third column to your blog, that one took me a while to figure out but I finally got it done.
The blog awards, I think they are just given out randomly by other bloggers. No registering or signing up for them. Some blog owners start their own blog awards and have them available for others to grab and give away. Basically you can give any blogger an award at any time, it is a different way to express appreciation for another blogging pal for whatever the reason may be.
At least in my limited blog experience that is how I think it works.

Okay, that proves it. When I was in school way back when, some teacher told me the dumb question is the one you don't ask. I drove teachers nuts with all of my questions. But another teacher said to me once, chances are if you have a question, at least 10 other people in the class have the same question. What does it prove? The teachers knew. They knew.
How 'bout whoever answers one of the questions and their answer works, I send that person a prize. Yes. In the mail. Like my set of steak knives. They haven't actually been used THAT often.
Thanks in advance.
Heidi for the masses
Robin must've written her comment before I wrote my (second) one, but anyway- the steak knives go to Robin! Thanks, Robin!

Hi Heidi! I came over from ADHD-Jo's blog (Monkeys are funny). I saw your sweet comments on her posts and thought I would come by to meet you.
Funny that I decided to stop by today. I design blogs and can help with all of these things. This isn't meant to be a self promotion, just a response to your post. :)
I enjoy helping people where I can with the gifts God has given.
Nice meeting you!
I think you're right. I fixed it!!
Here I go commenting on my own post, again. But I want to announce: on Saturday June 6, 2009 2Thinks discovered how to unfollow once and still follow once. Check your grids. I think I've fixed them all. Whew! That took me long enough to figure out, 'eh?
