A band was just getting set up overlooking a beer garden and there were games and tables of people handing out information about the Greenscape project and Community Gardens Work! etc. The smell of grilling brats wafted among vendors selling various wares. The scooters were our favorite. The next time we have an extra 4000 bucks laying around, we're going to buy the orange one- her name is Stella. Here's a picture of the pink one, Buddy, with Stella, our baby, in the background.
Views of lakes wherever we roamed- ahhh vacation, let's make it our permanent home.
We floated down this warm channel out to Lake Michigan and collected smooth stones to paint on. Fashionista meditated while standing one legged on a rock. The talent!
Astounding! Laundry calling, I'll have to post part two later- the swans, the fishing, the fish!
Stay tuned...

That vacation spot looks like heaven to me! Beautiful! My goal in life is to own a house on a lake--Golden Pond style. But I'd take one here, too!
As for the award, I couldn't find a code to grab either, so I copied and pasted the photo into my photos and then added it. I just linked Planet M in my post. I'm sure that isn't the official way to do it, but the only way I could figure.
I'd tell you I'm glad you're back (I am), but if that vacation could last for a month I wouldn't begrudge you. (OK. I might complain a little!)
What is it about those scooters?! I've been eyeing a red or green one!
That darn laundry!
Love your pics....especially the last one!
BTW, I have my suitcase packed and I'm standing on my front porch waiting for you......
Oh that looks wonderful! Glad you had a great time!
Sounds like a good time was had by all :-)
OH how I wouldn't love to have go with you to the shore. We went to our favorite "private" spot yesterday and there were tons of people there making all kinds of racket and noise. Oh well.
