The second picture, though blurry, shows the driveway and walkway several hours later, once again covered. The trenches you see are from the boy who swiftly shuffled his way, in over- sized boots, up to our front door.
Ding dong. Fash opened the door.
"I'll dig you out for $10!" he beamed like the headlights on the John Deere lawnmower turned snowplow that sat running at the roadside- his dad at the wheel.
But Fash would have none of it. She gave him the old "my dad's bigger than your dad" squint that sent him running to the neighbors.
Yep. I'm sure when I.T. gets home, he's gonna be real glad that Fash saved that shoveling for him. (eyes rolling)

Oh dear, I would have paid $10! LOL.
Enjoy your Snow Days!
i think IT will be sending Fash out to find that kid...$10 is a deal :)
Maybe Fash wants to play/shovel the snow herself???! Your snow is beautiful! (I still love it-even though everyone else hates it!)
(As for the blog opening over and over--it happens to me at a couple of other blogs, too. And I have no idea why. I'll go to help and see if I can see what others do!)
$10 is a great deal! I did round one of shoveling yesterday before Bob came home, but today I have to work, so he'll have to get out the snow blower when he comes home!
I would have paid him $10 and tipped him $5! :-)
after hearing that I think he's gonna send Fash out there to do it!! Isn't that what children are for anyway? :)
ROFL!!!
