Project 365 is hosted by
Sara at ...make music from your heart to the Lord... The idea is to capture your week in pictures, one picture for each day. I didn't exactly do that. I didn't get the picture of me sleeping in too late on Monday or the one of me finding the perfect "Happy 100th Birthday" card for a customer at the store on Tuesday. I missed the shot of me ironing 14 pairs of pants and the same number of dress shirts for a certain someone on Wednesday and the thing is, I don't know if it would've been right to take pictures of customers telling me, "thank you", "that's real customer service", "you were very helpful" at the bookstore on Thursday. But if you want to see Friday through Sunday, scroll on...
and I do hope this is legal and ok with Sara.
Birthday Burger coupon arrived via e-mail, so Fash and I rushed right over to Red Robin. We even got a free ice cream sundae and the staff sang to me "how oh- old arrre yoooo?" Just kidding, they didn't sing that part. Whew!
I couldn't get the balloon to face the right direction and close enough to get us both in the picture without the static cling and apparently Fash couldn't focus. But besides that...After the burgers, Fash and I went to an art show where she had a couple of pieces hanging around.
Nobody in our family has blue eyes. I don't know who this is, but Fash drew it.
I like this butterfly, another of Fash's creations.

Ever since she was three years old, Fash has been going to my sister's for a weekend in the fall along with her brothers. This year it was only Outside-the-Box and Fash, but they phoned Pilgrim in California, he's doing great. Weekend activities over the years have included apple picking and carving pumpkins- a race- boys against the girls through a corn maze and all that fall stuff. Here's my nephew carrying in Fash's sleeping bag.
Apparently I cannot handle focusing either.I dropped Fash off and while I was there my niece made me a swift cuppa joe. They don't use a French press over there. This little baby has you sipping your java in about 3 seconds flat.
I believe my focuser is broken.Saturday afternoon, I picked up Fash and we headed downtown for the first ever (in our city), New York style (sort of) fashion show brought together by all the local boutiques around here. On Sunday-another show for Fash and her friend (who took the picture below of hippie Fash)- I let Friend use my ticket. This was after a lovely church service this morning, no pic, sorry.

The green number was Fashionista's favorite. She wants to buy it for senior prom. I'm guessing $500+ and "no". Besides, she'd need a turtle neck underneath for coverage and so she wouldn't freeze to death.

I've posted this pic before, but tell me this girl shouldn't have been in the fashion show. Here, she is featured with selections from her own, real wardrobe. What a fun daughter.
And here we are enjoying the show. Can you guess who's who? Name those leggings.
clue: My leggings showed up in an earlier post a while back.
As for I.T., he skips fashion shows.

You've had a full week and you didn't even mention the lovely lunch you had the other day! :)
Glad to hear you made it to the Fashion show twice. Yes - Fash could be in the show herself and no - I can't figure out whose leggings are whose.
Love that end note!
What a great week--and quite fun! I love Fash's art work. (Maybe she could host her own little give away?!!)
I think almost anything goes with Project 365 :-) I didn't have a proper camera for several months and had to use my phone camera. It doesn't take very good photos and was so frustrating. So one week I went on strike with the phone camera and used old photos from our previous life. lol
Fun photos and commentary as always. You are so good at that!
Have a great week :-)
P.S. Does Fash sew? 'Cause she should totally design and make her own prom dress!
this was so fun and Kim is right..anything goes in project 365!!
I always love reading your commentary..it makes me smile and laugh!!!
I so wish I lived closer to my family to do weekends like your sister! I love that.
great week!
Gracious you had a big weekend! Wow! I loved all the pictures. I peg Fash as the black/white leggings.
I'm in picture overload right now with trying to get all my vacation pics in order.
I decided to try making a photo book at one of those online sites.
Not going so well I'm afraid. I am fairly computer savvy and this site I have chosen is a bit user unfriendly, at least I think so, any way it took a long time to get all the photos uploaded so I am hesitant to start over on a different site.
Oh the joys of blogger and windows live writer. Life is good in blogland.
loved your pictures!
loved the little green number and I think any prom going girl would, but they always pick fashion over function and damn the consequence of frost bite!
Blessings
Robin
How fun! Looks like a great week.
What a great week! Fash's art is very cool!
What a lovely fashion show. Our local shops do that too, twice a year. But I don't think they such dresses like that one! Awww!
I'm catching up, I'm way behind on reading and commenting!
That butterfly Tash drew looks stunning, I think she's very talented.
And I think you are the pumpkin colored legging, no?
Great pictures. I think the blue eyes look like me. And the girl in the "Green Dress" needs a sandwich and a piece of pie.
As for naming the legs I choose "LUCY and ETHEL."
Haha! I love spending the week with you! With and without the pictures!
Fash is quite the artist. What does she do for a living? I hope it's something artistic.
The picture of you is so cute! Static and all. *grin*
I've never been to a fashion show. Looks like fun. I can't believe you won't buy Fash that dress. What kinda mom are you any way? Oh, a good one! :)
I'm guessing Fash is the zebra print.
Hmmmm fashion show or bow hunting. Decissions decissions. :)
Great photos Heidi.
I like Fash's art alot! You're looking great too. It was fun riding through your week with you.
Tell Fash that I said the butterfly is terribly cool. I think we need to collaborate on pop-up cards.
i hadn't realized that fash was such an artist!
i can tell you are enjoying your job. perhaps i will get over there one of these days, now that i am back to being a "woman of leisure" (ha ha ha!). my job ended yesterday, just like that-- a bit earlier than expected. can't say i'm terribly disappointed; i was feeling pretty drained. and now i will actually get to have somewhat of a social life! do you happen to know any ladies i could hang out with, say, next thursday night?
